Upcoming events

For those of you who are wondering about my upcoming events:

I have a presentation for New York City Classical Guitar Society on December 7 at 7pm. I will be sharing tips on how to make effective arrangements and how to play them.

Visit www.nyccgs.com for more information: http://nyccgs.com/december-2017-meeting-yenne-lee/

I am again invited to teach at the New York Guitar Seminar at Mannes in 2018. I will be teaching master classes. Registration is not open yet. I will post an update once it is. It is a week-long seminar, full of master classes, ensemble rehearsals, great lectures, and concerts. I would be happy to answer questions about the seminar if you write me an email. Also visit the seminar’s website: mannesguitar.com

Other than the above, I am planning to release my second album and have album release concerts in New York City and Seoul in Spring 2018 (Could be Summer or Fall, depending on my work load). In the concerts, I will be playing selections from the first and second albums, plus a few classical pieces.

I am also planning to release singles every few weeks! Next one will be released within 1-2 weeks.

Stay tuned! Thank you!

Yenne

    1. Thanks, Yuu. I am currently in USA, but I will be playing a concert in Korea. Any updates will be sent via email newsletter. Happy New Year!

  2. Hi Yenne. I’m 60 years old and with a real passion for the classical guitar. I have had a lot of misery in my life with family members becoming sick and dying recently, but your playing fills me with an inner joy and happiness I find difficult to express. Thank you.

I’m currently working on Browers “ a day in November”. What is your secret for the development of such a beautifully relaxed left hand. Obviously hours of practice is involved but is there any other “ nugget of gold” you would like to share?

If you don’t have time to reply to this, that’s fine,.

There is only one last question. When are you going to come to the UK and delight us with a few live recitals?
    Euan.

    1. Dear Euan,
      Thank you for your comment.
To achieve a relaxed left hand, I think hours of practice with correct method is the only way.
I hope to visit UK for concerts in the future, but I don’t have any plan as of now.
      Have happy holidays!

    2. Hi Euan,

I too am in my 60’s. 64 to be exact. Her playing and arranging has brought tears to my eyes.
I am now studying privately. I have a very long way to go. Just a beginner. But, its never too late to
be happy with what you are pursuing. I’ll have to look up Browers “a day in November”
I’m working on Andantino by Carcassi and Allegro Op. 50 by Mauro Giuliani, also Blackbird by the Beatles.
Lots of work. Practice, practice, practice. She has inspired me so and also Tommy Emmanuel.
      I am from the US.

  3. I am looking for your performance in Tokyo. Do you have any plan to play in Tokyo sometime in near future hopefully in 2019?

  4. Dear Yenne,
Wow…I have just discovered classical guitar on YouTube watching all of your tracks.
Thank you for allowing us to watch a beautiful woman playing beautiful guitar pieces.
If you yearned for a relaxing holiday then why not come to New Zealand for a short stay and if you do then please arrange to do a few performances… can’t wait to you you playing live!
    Regards
    Jim

  5. Dear Yenne,
My husband is a budding guitarist and loves your music (as do I). I have been trying to find a concert schedule for 2020 so that we may hear you live. Do you have any information on that yet? Though we live in the Midwest, we are willing and able to travel. Thank you.

    Kathleen Robb

  6. Dear Yenne,
are you planning to come to europe in 2020? Or in 2021?
It would be a great pleasure for me to hear and see you live.

    Cheers

    Wulf

  7. Am listening as I write to Autumn Leaves
I so appreciate your talent and the quality of your music.
    It is very calming.
    You seem so relaxed.
I played clarinet and was part of a 5 PC band many years ago.
Listening to music played by you with the passion displayed is very inspiring. Thank you for sharing your gift
